Louis van Dyke (also spelled Louis van Dijk) was a beloved Dutch pianist. The music on this album is arranged and conducted by Rogier van Otterloo.
Born as Arnold Ludwig van Dijk in Amsterdam, van Dyke studied solo piano at the Amsterdam Conservatorium. He became well-known for his improvisational talent in the classical genre. He also played with Pim Jacobs and Pieter van Vollenhoven under the name Gevleugelde Vrienden ("Winged Friends").
