On 6th October 1972 Earth and Fire goes into the studio to record a new album and single. This third album is released in March 1973 and is called Atlantis.
The bands new musical sound, firstly introduced on 'Song of the marching children', is continued on this new album. The record is produced by Jaap Eggermont without the assistance of Freddy Haayen and recorded this time in the Phonogram Studios in Hilversum. 'Atlantis' produces another hit song for the band, the popular single 'Maybe tomorrow, maybe tonight'.
