In 2008 Thijs van Leer released his first solo album in nearly a decade, entitled The Home Concert. The album featured recordings made in his living room as he played material for Focus 9. The album was exclusively available via internet and at concerts.

This is a hybrid disc. In the multimedia section there are music videos recorded with portable domestic equipment.
